Labourspace T&Cs

 
A. By using and/or visiting Labourspace (collectively, including all content and functionality available through the site) you signify your agreement to these terms and conditions, the "Terms of Service". If you do not agree to any of these terms, please do not use the Labourspace Website.
B. Labourspace may, in its sole discretion, modify or revise these Terms of Service and policies at any time, and you agree to be bound by such modifications or revisions. You should therefore periodically review the most up-to-date version. 

Labourspace

A. These terms apply to all users of Labourspace, including campaigners, supporters, detractors and contributors of campaign materials, content, information, and other materials or services on the Website.

B. You understand that your voting intentions i.e. your political Party allegiance and your support or opposition to all campaigns within Labourspace will be made publically accessible unless you have chosen to hide these details from within your personal profile page.

C. Labourspace is intended to be a place for open and free discussion � however, views stated on the site do not necessarily represent the views of the Labour Party.

D. Labourspace will not allow any racist, sexist, homophobic or offensive content.  If you see any prohibited materials please email abuse@labourspace.com

The Labourspace website may contain links to third party websites that are not owned or controlled by the Labour Party.  Labourspace and the Labour Party has no control over, and assumes no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third party websites. In addition, Labour will not and cannot censor or edit the content of any third-party site. 

The Labour Party regularly check to ensure that campaign descriptions pages do not link to any racist, sexist, offensive or homophobic material â�� however it could be the case that third parties may add additional links to offensive third Party sites through the comment and blog functions.  If this occurs please email abuse@labourspace.com and we will remove any campaigns that violate these terms.

E. You agree not to circumvent, disable or otherwise interfere with security-related features of the Labourspace Website or maliciously abuse this service.

F. You understand that when using Labourspace your campaign is exposed to both positive and negative voting from third parties.

G. All details concerning the prize a "winner" of a Labourspace round receives is at the sole discretion of the Labour Party and may vary on a monthly basis.

You understand that at the end of a Labourspace campaign period (one calendar month) all votes will be reset to zero.  However, the campaign creator will be given the opportunity to email all of the people who have taken part in their campaign telling them that the campaign has been resubmitted to the next stage of Labourspace.

H. User Submissions can come from a variety of sources, and while we will remove racist, sexist, homophobic and offensive content, the Labour Party is not responsible for the accuracy or usefulness relating to such User Submissions and/or voting actions by Labourspace users.

Starting a campaign


A. As a Labourspace profile holder you may create and submit campaign pages comprising of text and images.  The Labour Party retains the right to refuse to publish certain campaigns at our own discretion.   

B. When uploading images and campaign descriptions the user is solely responsible for posted materials and the consequences of posting them. In posting material you attest to own or have the necessary licenses, rights, consents, and permissions to use this material within your campaign.

Account Termination Policy

A. Labourspace will terminate a User's access and campaign if they violate the Labourspace Terms of Service outlined here.

IP addresses and log file data

The Labour Party site does not automatically capture or store personal information, other than logging the user's IP Address or the location of your computer or network on the Internet, for systems administration and troubleshooting purposes. (If you are connected to the Internet you have an IP address, for example an IP address might read "154.198.99.9"). We also use IP addresses in the aggregate to track which pages people visit in order to improve the quality of the site.

Data collection and use
To register with Labourspace you will be asked for personal information.  Within your profile page you can modify your personal information and change your privacy settings.

The Labour Party does not sell or disclose this information to outside organisations or individuals, nor transfer it outside the United Kingdom. The Labour Party and its elected officials may contact you with the information that you supply.  You may remove or change your details at any time. You have right of access to your personal information held on our files by written request to the data protection officer (address below) and on payment of an administration fee.

Cookie

A cookie is a tiny text file that is stored on your computer. We may use cookies in order to tailor your experience on our site according to the preferences you have specified. However we will only access the information that we stored in your cookie file. We will not access any information stored in a cookie by other websites. Our cookies do not contain any personally identifiable information.

How we protect your information

Our website has security measures in place to protect against the loss, misuse or alteration of the information under our control. Our server is located in a locked, secure environment, with a guard posted 24 hours a day.

Choice/unsubscribe

We provide you the opportunity to opt-out of receiving communications from us easily and promptly. Our unsubscribe requests are processed weekly.
